Product Description
Erecting and placing clips of 4 or 6 on beverage crates
Functional description
Beverage crates can be provided with clips (4 or 6 clips) in the clipping machine. The crates run into the machine in a single lane and are separated by a stopper as they enter. At the 3 machine stations, the clips are erected from the flat blank and pressed under the crown caps of the bottles. The finished crates are then transported out of the machine.
Functional process
The crates arrive at the machine via a conveyor belt. Here they are stopped and separated with the help of a stopper. After separation, the crates are conveyed into a carrier chain and from here they are held in the correct position under the machine stations. The three machine stations are set up identically. At each station, two clips are prepared for insertion into the crate. There is a double magazine at each of the three stations, which must be filled manually with the clips.
The magazines are designed for a total running time of up to 20 minutes. The individual clips are removed from these magazines using vacuum suction cups and erected at the same time. The clips are then pushed into a turntable. The turntable cycles through 90° and a box is now ready underneath. The clips are now pressed down into the crate with a plunger and get caught under the crown caps of the bottles. After a crate has passed through all three stations, it has been completely fitted with six 4 clips. The complete crates now leave the machine on a normal conveyor belt.
