Filling of soups in Ø95mm cups

The aim of this project was to fill soups into Ø95mm cups. After the filling process, the cups are sealed with a PET board. The cups then pass through a metal detector and have to be printed with the MHD. Finally, they are transported away to a collection plate.
Our highly flexible adaptation to customer requirements opens up scope for special machines.

Funktionsablauf

First, the cups are unstacked from the cup magazine via a vacuum suction cup and picked up in the turntable. The first cycle uses a sensor to check whether the cup is in the turntable. One cycle later, the product is filled into the cup. The filling volume can be infinitely adjusted via the touch panel. The PET blank is then placed in the blank station and sealed airtight with the cup in the downstream sealing station.

The last station within the machine lifts the cup out of the turntable and pushes it onto the following conveyor belt. From here, the cup passes through a metal detector. If this metal detector detects contamination in the cup, the cup is immediately pushed off the conveyor onto a deposit. If the cup is OK, it is then printed with the best-before date at the bottom of the cup. Finally, the cup is transported to a collection plate. From there, the finished cups can be removed by hand.
