Product Description

Clippack machine CM 120 with transport technology in infeed and outfeed

Functional description

Single-lane clip packs (1 x 3 and 1 x 2) can be produced in the clipping machine. For this purpose, the bottle transport is designed with two lanes, but only the single-lane bottle infeed is set. Processing of the 2 x 2 and 2 x 3 formation is also provided for the 100 g bottles.

The bottle formats packed in the clipper are transported out of the machine via a discharge conveyor and transferred to a conveyor belt on the customer side.

Functional description

The bottles are fed in via a single or double-lane bottle conveyor. The bottles are moved into the machine and transported into the machine by a conveyor belt.

This ensures that the bottles are positioned directly next to each other. Only before the pre-glued clips are placed from above is the bottle transport transported into the press-on station by a screw conveyor (two screws for two-lane applications).

The blanks are removed from a horizontal magazine with a rotary pick-up with suction cups and placed on a feed belt with cams. The blanks are pressed onto the cam belt via two pressure rails. This ensures that the blanks are fixed in the cams so that folding around the core with subsequent gluing runs smoothly.

Gluing takes place depending on the speed, with the glue start and end points being adjusted to the machine speed.

The finished glued clips are then pushed by the cam belt into a transfer chute. At the same time, a cam belt with two cams for one clip also comes from above. This slowly transports the clip down into an adjustable shaft onto the upcoming bottle flow.

The clip is then placed over the neck of the bottle and pressed under the bottle openings using a guide rail and a rotating tool so that the blank snaps into place underneath the neck of the bottle.

Finally, the packs are conveyed out of the machine by a discharge conveyor and transferred to the downstream conveyors.
